Dr. Lee “Patrick” Finklea, Jr. is a board-certified pediatrician and co-founder of Here We Grow Pediatrics. He is a 2002 graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he played Division I soccer and received the Outstanding Departmental Award in Philosophy. He earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk and completed his pediatric residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

During his training, Dr. Finklea received the Children’s Health Advocate of the Year Award from the Medical-Legal Assistance for Families and volunteered at CAMP CAMP for children and adults with disabilities and Camp Independence for children with diabetes. He has also been recognized by Texas Super Doctors every year since 2018 and named a San Antonio Magazine Top Doctor every year since 2020.

Dr. Finklea especially enjoys caring for children from birth through adolescence, building lasting relationships with families, and helping parents appreciate the joys and challenges of each stage of their child’s development.
