what we offer - our services

here we grow pediatrics offers a large variety of pediatric care services in our san antonio office.

general pediatric services

As parents ourselves, we know how important it is to you for your child to be healthy. Our general pediatric services cover examinations, sick visits, and diagnosis of health issues to children of all ages. Our doctors will get to know you as well as your child and answer any questions or concerns about current or future developments of your child’s health. We also offer same-day appointments if you are worried that your child’s condition cannot wait.

asthma

Asthma can be frightening for both children and parents, especially when symptoms make it hard to breathe, sleep, exercise, or keep up with everyday activities. With the right diagnosis and treatment plan, however, children with asthma can live active, healthy lives.

We take the time to understand your child’s symptoms, triggers, and individual needs. We can help with diagnosis, medications, asthma action plans, and ongoing monitoring to keep symptoms under control and reduce flare-ups.

If you’re concerned about your child’s breathing, wheezing, persistent cough, or possible asthma, schedule an appointment with our pediatric team. We’re here to help your child breathe easier and stay active.

vaccines / immunizations

Vaccines are an important part of protecting children from serious, preventable illnesses. We strongly believe in childhood immunizations and follow the recommended schedule from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Our pediatric team provides vaccines for children of all ages and will help you understand which immunizations are recommended and why at each stage—from infancy through the teen years. If your child is behind on recommended vaccines, we can work with you to develop a personalized catch-up schedule.

We also understand that parents may have questions or concerns about vaccines. We’re here to listen, provide clear and trusted information, and have open, respectful conversations so you can make informed decisions about your child’s health.

Our goal is to partner with your family, answer your questions, and help keep your child healthy and protected as they grow.

adhd

ADHD can affect children in many different ways, including attention, focus, impulsivity, behavior, organization, and school performance. When concerns arise, it can be difficult for families to know what is typical and when additional support may be helpful.

We take the time to understand your child as a whole. Our pediatric team can help evaluate concerns about ADHD, work with families and schools when appropriate, and develop an individualized treatment plan based on your child’s specific needs.

Treatment may include behavioral strategies, school support, medication, or a combination of approaches. Our goal is to help your child feel successful at home, at school, and in everyday life while giving your family the guidance and support you need along the way.

developmental milestone evaluation

Every child grows and develops at their own pace, and it’s natural for parents to have questions about milestones along the way. Developmental screenings help you and your pediatrician track your child’s progress and identify areas that may benefit from closer attention or additional support.

Our team looks at the whole child—including communication, physical development, learning, behavior, and social development. We use age-appropriate screenings and in-office evaluations to help recognize concerns early, answer questions about each stage of development, and let you know what milestones and changes you can look forward to before your child’s next regular visit.

From first smiles and first steps to language, learning, and growing independence, we’re here to monitor and support your child’s development and partner with your family along the way.

same-day sick availability

We know illnesses don’t follow a schedule. When your child isn’t feeling well, we want to make it as easy as possible to get the care they need.

We reserve same-day sick appointments for established patients with urgent concerns such as fever, ear pain, cough or other respiratory symptoms, rashes, vomiting, and other sudden illnesses.

You can schedule online through your patient portal 24/7, or call our office during business hours and our team will help you find the best available appointment time. If you’re unsure whether your child needs to be seen, we’re happy to help guide you.

Our goal is simple: to be available when your family needs us and help your child feel better as quickly as possible.
