Scheduling and Appointment Guidelines

scheduling appointments

Appointments can be scheduled by calling our office during business hours. Please let us know the reason for your visit so we can reserve the appropriate amount of time with your child’s provider.

15-minute grace period

We understand that delays happen. We offer a 15-minute grace period for scheduled visits. If you arrive later than this, we may need to reschedule your appointment to avoid delays for other patients.

adding siblings

If additional children need to be seen, please call ahead so we can schedule them appropriately. This ensures enough time with the provider and helps keep our clinic running smoothly. We cannot guarantee same-day availability for unscheduled siblings.

cancellations & no-shows

If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you notify our office at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.

Missed appointments or late cancellations limit access for other families who need care. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in:

  • A missed appointment fee
  • Possible dismissal from our practice

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us care for all our patients efficiently.

after-hours care

We know questions and concerns don’t always happen during office hours. We’re here to help guide you to the right level of care.

after-hours answering service

For urgent medical concerns when our office is closed, please call our main phone number to reach our after-hours answering service. Up until 9pm you can call the office and leave a voicemail for the on call physician. After 9pm a registered nurse will guide you using our office protocol and they will connect you with the on-call provider if needed.

patient portal messaging

For non-urgent questions, medication requests, forms, or general guidance, you can send us a message through the patient portal. Portal messages are reviewed during regular business hours and are the best way to communicate routine needs.

emergencies

If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
